The Showboat Reunion

CALLING ALL FORMER SHOWBOAT PLAYERS, DESIGNERS, DIRECTORS, MANAGERS & FRIENDS!

This year the Minnesota Centennial Showboat is celebrating “50 on the Mississippi” and you are invited to join us for a very special Showboat Players Reunion. Join U of M Showboat faculty, alumni and friends for an afternoon of theatre and an evening of fun with our special hosts for the day: Lance Brockman, Jean Montgomery, Charles Nolte and Sherry Wagner-Henry.

About the Reunion
First, see our current cast of Showboat Players perform “The Count of Monte Cristo,” directed by Peter Moore. Following that, our party will board a Padelford Riverboat for a three-hour tour down the banks of the Mighty Mississippi for a once in a lifetime event with a special banquet dinner, an open mic to share your special Showboat memories, and hours of old fashioned fun.

Schedule
1-1:30 p.m. Arrive at Padelford Landing (West Gate Entrance) to Harriet Island Regional Park in St. Paul

2 p.m. See a performance of “The Count of Monte Cristo”

4-5:00 p.m. Visit with alumni and cast on the Showboat

5-5:30 p.m. Board the Jonathan Padelford riverboat

5:30 p.m. Set sail for a three-hour tour including:

8:30 p.m. Dock at Padelford Landing


To Register
The Showboat Reunion is open to the first 200 registered guests.
The cost of the reunion is $35 per person registration deadline is July 1st. To register, contact the Showboat administrative office at 612.625.4001.

Directions
Reunion guests are asked to park in the Padelford Landing. Enter through the West Gate Entrance to Harriet Island Regional Park. Specific directions are available online on the Padelford Riverboats website.
