Sherlock's Last Case

Sherlock's Last Case

Join the University of Minnesota Showboat Players this summer as they embark upon another celebrated season of ol' fashioned, river bound entertainment. This year, the Players tell a tale that picks up where the famous Sherlock Holmes stories left off. Sherlock's Last Case centers on a death threat against everybody's favorite sleuth by the supposed son of his late nemesis, Professor Moriarty.

Sherlock Watson LisaThis campy interpretation is directed by Stephen Kanee and complimented by the Showboat’s signature olios, hand-picked by veteran Showboat director Vern Sutton. Marowitz’s cutting and funny dialogue drives the twisting plot forward as double and triple crosses occur, mysterious and zany characters appear, and identities suddenly shift.

This production contains gunshots/simulated acts of violence and may not be suitable for small children. Please contact the University of Minnesota Theatre at 612.625.4001 for more details.
